Discover everything AdShield can do for you.

Fraudulent Ad Detection

When you enable fraud detection, AdShield anonymously reports suspicious ads you encounter anywhere on the web. This helps get scam ads removed faster and protects other users. This feature is completely optional and off by default.

What we collect

  • The ad content (title, description, links)
  • Advertiser details (who paid for the ad)
  • The search query or page where the ad appeared

What we never collect

  • Your browsing history
  • Login credentials or form data
  • Anything that personally identifies you
  • Data sold to third parties

How the data is used

1

Report to advertising platforms

When we spot a scam ad, we flag it to the relevant platform — Google, Meta, Microsoft, and others — so they can remove it.

2

Alert brands being impersonated

Fraudsters often impersonate legitimate brands. We notify those brands so they can take legal action.

The goal is simple: see the ad, analyse it, strip out anything personal, and use the intelligence to stop fraud. That's it.

Your choice, your control

Fraud detection is an opt-in feature. Ad blocking works perfectly without it. If you choose to enable it, you're helping protect other users from scams — but the decision is entirely yours.
